Fall Photos!

We spent the day in Lexington visiting family and having our Fall pictures made. We just had a few studio shots taken, mostly of Charlie. I did not get to see all of the final prints because Charlie was too busy running into the Salon to check out the chicks, but what I did see was adorable. We should have the pictures later in the week.

While we were at the mall Charlie was led to the new Disney section by Paw Paw Lynn. Hmmm...I wonder how that turned out? You are correct. Armfuls of toys and clothes. My child is way too spoiled. Thank goodness we are having a second. Maybe the spoiling will be a little more spread out? I doubt it.

Have you ever seen a 22 month old that puts down his toys to try on his new clothes?

Charlie received two fire trucks, an airplane and a helicopter when we walked through the door today. We left the mall with six cars, a puzzle, a stuffed dinosaur, a vest, hat and two shirts. I am going to need a bigger house to have room for all of this child's clothes and toys.

Apple!

We spent Saturday evening at Kinman Farms thanks to our local Remax office. They offered us free tickets for customer appreciation.

We enjoyed a hay ride, music, a jungle gym and of course, pumpkins. Charlie was excited to see all of the "apples" spread across the field.

We tried and tried to get him to say pumpkin, but all he was worried about was how many "apples" he could carry home.

The poor kid did not have as many arms as his excitement wanted. We spent 30 minutes trying to find the perfect "apples". Who new a 21 month old could be that picky. Definitely my child.

We spent Friday night at Babies R Us picking out the boots you see in the picture above. Those boots have not left Charlie's feet since we first purchased them. Checking out at the store was an ordeal. Thank God the scanner has a long cord. He was not giving up his dinosaur boots for anything.

We asked if he wanted monster trucks or dinosaurs and this is the face we got in return. No words had to be spoken.

We had a great weekend. Charlie got new boots, a bunch of "apples" and we helped Grams with some yard work.

Maybe next weekend we can take the boots off and wash his feet. Wish us luck.

Pregnancy: Week 7

Monday will be pregnancy week number 7. Jamie has been feeling terrible. The HCG counts have been great! We had an ultrasound at week 5 day 5 and the baby was 0.25 centimeters long. 0.25 centimeters! That is 1/3 the length of a grain of rice. We could see the heartbeat clearly on the ultrasound. Baby "X" looked like a lightning bug.
The little round dot that you see at the tip of the arrow is the baby. It is amazing how you can love a little dot so much. When we first saw Charlie he already had arms and legs and was bouncing around in the womb. It is so awesome that we have been able to see baby "X" twice already and we are only 7 weeks along.

Jamie wakes up every morning with nausea and it seems to last all day. I don't remember her being this sick with Charlie. Could this baby be a girl? What is your guess? Girl or boy?

Baby "X" may just have the designation of baby "X" since we can not seem to agree on names. We already used the one name that we both liked. Jamie likes Wyatt for a boy. I prefer William. Jamie always wanted to name a girl Shelby. It finally grew on me and now she is not sure if she likes it. Women and their ever changing minds. Maybe I should start an eBay auction for "Name my kid". The highest bidder gets to name baby "X".
